Kamal’s Manmadhan Ambu launched, Manmadhan Ambu Movie Details

Kamal Hassan is doing a full length romantic role laced with comedy in his new film Manmadhan Ambu, which was officially launched June 3 at AVM studios in Chennai.

Manmadhan Ambu is produced by Udayanidhi Stalin for Red Giant Movies, and has Kamal Haasan,Madhavan, Trisha and Sangeetha in the lead. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad and is directed by K.S.Ravikumar. 90 percent of the shoot is to take place in a ship in the Mediterranean and in locations of Europe like Rome, Venice, Paris, and Barcelona among others.

Said Ravikumar: “This is my fifth film with Kamal Haasan and I am still learning a lot from him. He is turning a romantic hero after a long break. This film will not have him in different get-up’s and I can assure you that he will look like a 30-year-old in the film. Kunjan and Manju Pillai from Malayalam are also a part of the film”.

A new cameraman Manush Nandan, an associate with Ravi K Chandran is being introduced with the film. Maddy who flew down from Mumbai said: “ I am an ardent devotee of Kamal sir. In fact Manmadhan Ambu, is my second film with him, Trisha and Sangeetha. This film is going to be a big party for us”.

Trisha who is working with KS Ravikumar for the first time said that Kaml is her favourite actor and her biggest dream was to be cast opposite him. She also went on to thank Udayanidhi Stalin and others.

In his speech Kamal who has written the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics said: “We are doing rehearsals for the film, before the shoot begins so that everybody is familiar with their roles. When you do a major play there will be a rehearsal camp to hone the skills of the artist taking part, who will have to perform it on stage to perfection from day one. Similarly Manmadhan Ambu is a big budget film, and we do not want the script to be written on the sets, now we can shoot exactly what we have in our mind.”

Vijay’s 51st movie Kavalkaran movie shooting is currently going on in full swing in Karaikkudi and Kumbakonam regions of Tamil nadu. Vijay and Asin along the other crew members are shooting for the introductory song of the film.

These are the starting lines of the mass-intro song of the ‘Ilaya Thalapathi’ Vijay’s Kavalkaran movie.




The song was recently shot on the actor and a large number of junior artistes near the famous Sri Mahalingaswamy shrine in Thiruvidaimarudur, a temple town near Kumbakonam. Also present in the shoot was Asin, the heroine of the movie.While Vijay was spotted in a violet t-shirt and blue jean, Asin was seen wearing a brown sari.

Kaavalkaran Vijay's parents-in-law as Roja, Raj Kiran

The Vijay-Asin starrer Kavalkaran went on floors recently and shooting is going on in full swing in Karaikudi region in Tamil Nadu. Director Siddique has roped in several well-established actors and actresses to play important roles in the film.

Earlier, Raj Kiran was signed up to play Asin’s dad in the film. The news now is that Roja will pair up with Raj Kiran to play the leading lady’s mom. This means, Raj Kiran and Roja will be Vijay’s parents-in-law in Kavalkaran.

‘U’ Certificate For Vijay’S ‘Sura’

A glad tiding for the diehard fans of Ilayathalapathy Vijay as his 50th film ‘Sura’ can be ascertained as a best entertainer for all age groups. Yeah! The censor board officials have congratulated director S.P. Rajkumar for delivering a decent entertainer and have passed it with a clean ‘U’ certificate.

It’s worth mentioning that Vijay’s previous film ‘Vettaikaran’ was passed with ‘U/A’ certificate for its hard violence and glamorous show by Anushka in few songs.

The film ‘Sura’ is expected to be a sort of great entertainment as the film brings together Vijay and Vadivelu after a long sabbatical gap.

Publicized to a greater magnitude, the film will hit screens all over the world on April 30.

VIJAY’S STRUGGLE FOR A SLUM

Director SP Rajkumar says that Sura is all about a youth fighting for the well-being of a slum. According to the director, this is a new storyline for Vijay’s fans. Sura, which is being distributed by Sun Pictures, is all set to hit the screens on April 30th. The songs have already proven to be chartbusters.

Rajkumar says that the comedy portions which are jointly handled by Vijay and Vadivelu will be the highlight of the film. On Tamannah’s role, the director says that she is a college girl in the film and due importance to her character has been given.
